Inventory Manager – Luxury Dealership in Naperville, IL

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Manager to manage vehicle dispatch from auctions to the dealership, conduct thorough inspections, and manage arbitration when necessary. This role is essential to maintaining our inventory’s quality and ensuring vehicles are ready for sale.

Job Responsibilities

• Dispatches transportation of vehicles from the auction to the dealership.
• Inspects incoming vehicles for any issues or defects.
• Documents and arbitrates any disputes regarding vehicle condition with the auction.
• Takes detailed photos of each vehicle for recordkeeping and marketing purposes.
• Creates a list of any necessary repairs or maintenance.
• Coordinates with the service department to schedule needed repairs.
• Manages and updates inventory records regularly.
• Ensures vehicles are prepared for sale, including cleanliness and required maintenance.
• Assists in organizing monthly physical inventory counts.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent experience in automotive inventory management or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with vehicle inspection processes.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
